One Format, Two Exchanges: How UDiFF and ISIN Make NSE vs BSE Comparison Easy
NSE and BSE now publish their daily bhavcopy in the same UDiFF format, but each exchange still uses its own code for a company. The ISIN, a 12-character code that is identical on both exchanges (INE002A01018 for Reliance, for example), is the key that lets you join the two files and compare prices.
